One of the leading exponents of what some have dubbed 'Rinse pop', Jessie Ware's appropriation of underground tropes (with more than a little dash of melody, mind) virtually crafted an entirely new pop sound.
Debut album 'Devotion' sparked a thousand would-be followers, while new single 'Tough Love' could well find the Brixton singer re-claim her throne.
Out now, the production is slick, the lyrics are enticing and Jessie Ware's vocal is - as ever - sublime.
Now receiving some stylish visuals, it's proof that, in this case at least, the original is still the greatest.
Oh, and there's a Cyril Hahn remix online now, too. Check it HERE.
