Hooton Tennis Club – ‘Katy-Anne Bellis’

An ode to an ex-flatmate...

Hooton Tennis Club have always sought out the magical in the ordinary.

So new single 'Katy-Anne Bellis' – a superbly contagious indie pop romp – owes it origins to some rather mundane circumstances.

An ode to an ex-flatmate, the off kilter riff and keening vocal wrap themselves around a gentle lament, one that explores friendship in all its transitory nature.

The video for the single is a raucous, colourful affair, as the band explain:

"We decided to throw a soiree in the living room of the enchanted 'Garlic Mansion' for our song inspired by the wonderful Katy-Anne! The house she used to live in – a house of plenty – never a dull moment! People come and people go, and in this house all are celebrated. ¡Viva la garlic mansion!"

Check it out now.

'Big Box of Chocolates' will be released on October 16th.
