Rising Manchester synth-poppers...
Go Native

It almost goes without saying that Manchester has a strong heritage of electronic music.

After all, this is the city which gave the world Factory Records and the Hacienda, A Guy Called Gerald and Autechre.

Yet there's also a rich pop element to Manchester's musical palette. Go Native make no claims to be IDM innovators, but their slick take on the synth-pop template recalls both sides of the divide.

New EP 'Sleep Patterns' is out now, a neat preview of what the group are capable of. Swinging between all out electro thrashers and more layered, ambient passages, the EP finds Go Natives truly blossoming as producers.

Stripped from the release, 'Electric Chair' showcases the group's softer, more thoughtful side. Backed with a new video, check it out first on Clash.
