Including new live footage...
Franz Ferdinand

Glasgow is almost the perfect size for a city.

Big enough to continually surprise, small enough that everyone (literally, we're not joking here) knows one another, the area boasts a thriving music scene.

Hell, that scarcely needs stating. Franz Ferdinand formed in the city and, despite living largely elsewhere, the band still call Glasgow home. Working on their fourth studio album, the band decided to return to their roots.

Spending a weekend in Glasgow, they met up with old friends and played a surprise show at local cafe / record shop / cultural hub Mono. Footage from that fateful weekend on the lash has been pieced together into a new short film.

Directed by Andy Knowles, it displays some of the camaraderie which makes Franz Ferdinand what they are - as well as an exclusive preview of their forthcoming album.

Watch it now.
