Eels - Lockdown Hurricane

Bonnie and Clyde style video...
'Lockdown Hurricane' still

Eels have always been a frank, open, emotional experience.

Yet new album 'The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett' takes this further than ever before. With lead singer E delving into his personal life, it matches pained, melancholic lyrics against a pastoral sweep.

'Lockdown Hurricane' was a highlight, featuring one of E's most sensitive vocal performances. Now the track has gained a full video, shot in the American desert.

Essentially a Bonnie and Clyde style love story, don't go expecting either the video (or indeed the album) to end happily...

Eels have confirmed the following UK shows:

June
17 Glasgow Royal Concert House
18 Cambridge Corn Exchange
19 Bexhill De La Warr Pavillion
30 London Royal Albert Hall

July
24 London Barbican
25 Bristol England Colston Hall
26 Gateshead Sage
