Newly signed to Transgressive, Dry The River's upcoming album 'Alarms in the Heart' will be released on August 25th.
New single 'Everlasting Light' drops the same day, with the track seemingly acting as a creative key to unlock the album as a whole.
The band's lead vocalist Peter Liddle: "At the time Dry the River were in something of a wilderness, creatively and temporally. For me, 'Everlasting Light' represents the path out of the wilderness - a kind of unlikely moment of clarity where we remembered what its like to be a band in a room."
A video has been shot for the track, featuring Dry The River indulging in some nifty judo moves. Matching the band's theme of resurgence, the clip features each member getting thrown to the floor - but getting back up.
Liddle continues: "The combative video came from these themes - of getting back up after a setback, dusting ourselves off. The black belts are real, and so is the pain."
