Drenge – ‘Running Wild’

Directed by Ed Lovelace...

Drenge have a ferocious yet uncomplicated sound.

Oddly, though, the group tend to translate this into entrancing, powerfully poetic visuals. Clash previously spoke to the duo, asking Drenge to talk us through each of their videos – find that feature HERE.

Now, Drenge have unveiled the clip for 'Running Wild'. Directed by Ed Lovelace, it is inspired by the rural way of life depicted in Gideon Koppel's Sleep Furiously, Michelangelo Frammartino's Le Quattro Volte and Ermanno Olmi's The Tree of Wooden Clogs.

Drenge: "It was an honour to work with Ed Lovelace again on this film, and we're very grateful to the Richardson family for letting us film in the craggy limestone fells of Throwley Farm on the Derbyshire/Shropshire border".
