Love on a golfing range...
Dog Is Dead

Golf isn't the most rock 'n' roll activity.

But then, Dog Is Dead are hardly a rock 'n' roll band. Carefully hewn vignettes of indie joy, the Nottingham group's debut album 'All Our Favourite Stories' is a bashful, coy introduction - all soft choruses and delicate songcraft.

New single 'Teenage Daughter' is a case in point. Of its gestation singer Rob offers the following quote: "'Teenage Daughter' is a song I wrote about a conversation I had at the end of a party. I was talking to a girl who thought she may be pregnant just after she'd split from her boyfriend to go travelling around the world. It's how I imagined life would be the next time I saw her if she had the baby. It's about biting your lip and taking life head-on.”

The video is shot on a golfing range, and features the sort of awkward, endearing love story you can imagine Dog Is Dead would themselves be involved in.

Watch it now.
