Daughter's success has been slow burning, insidious.
The band's debut album 'If You Leave' was released in the opening weeks of 2013, featuring songcraft which exemplified the less-is-more approach. Sparse to the point of silence, it was a brave, intriguing record which took several listens to fully unravel.
Since then, it's been a continual rise for the three piece. Playing shows across Europe and beyond, Daughter's subtle intensity will no doubt rankly highly in those pesky End Of Year polls.
Last night (October 29th) the group played their largest London show yet. Selling out Shepherd's Bush Empire, Daughter breezed through set displaying a rare amount of class.
Recent single 'Amsterdam' was a highlight, and it features in a new video featuring footage shot at Festival No. 6.
Watch it now.
