Bastille are prepared to take a chance or two.
New single 'Good Grief' is outrageous, colourful, and difficult to ignore – topping the Shazam charts, it's a virtual ever-present on Radio 1.
Now the video is online. Wholly imaginative and more than a little outrageous, it was shot in Spain and found the project spreading their wings.
Dan Smith says: “We were excited to be able to work with NYSU (Wild Beasts, New Order, Philip Selway) on the video which was shot over 6 or so days in Madrid. It is like a mad visual Rubik’s Cube that takes a load of archetypal narrative scenarios and then twists and collides them together. We wanted to make something fun and chaotic and surreal that would serve as a fittingly odd accompaniment to the song.”
