Influential Irish band
Influential Irish band, based in Dublin. The group emerged out of the city's Grafton Street busking community, and have become elder statesmen for the Irish rock scene. Members of the band appeared in The Commitments, with the group fostering close links with film studios - lead singer Glen Hansard won an Oscar for his score from "Once".
