Tickets For Glastonbury 2015 Sell Out In 25 Minutes

Did you get yours?

Perhaps the most important festival in the UK, the Glastonbury team are already making preparations for 2015’s instalment.

With clues to the potential line up being kept under lock and key, registration for tickets closed a few days ago. On Wednesday (October 1st) the first 15,000 tickets went on sale – and were snapped up within 15 minutes.

This morning (October 5th) the full package of tickets went on sale. Some 100,000 tickets were made available, with ravenous fans scooping the entire batch within 25 minutes.

It’s an astonishing return. Posting on their official site, Glastonbury organisers said:

"We're humbled by the incredible numbers of people who would like to come to the Festival – and it's clear that demand once again outstripped supply this year.”

"We're sorry that some of you have missed out, but there will be a resale of returned tickets in the spring (and your registration remains valid for future years).

"Thank you all for your never-ending support for our Festival."
