Historic Danish festival Roskilde has added a host of additional names.
The festival is one of Europe’s biggest outdoor events, sharing a similar counter-cultural ethos to Glastonbury. Returning in 2024, the latest announcement from Roskilde organisers includes a wide batch of names.
EDM guru and super-producer Skrillex will bring his live show to Roskilde, touching back down on European soil. Roskilde programme director Anders Wahrén looks ahead to the set by commenting…
“Skrillex has single-handedly cut through a lot of barriers and is bringing together people across generations, nations, and musical inclinations. Everything we’ve seen and heard from Skrillex in 2023—and that sums up to quite a lot—serves as euphoric and undisputable proof of his musical ambitions and innovative technical wizardry. We’re excited for this to unfold at Roskilde Festival…”
Other additions include Norwegian songwriter Aurora, trailblazing rap talent SexyyRed, and socially conscious rapper Noname. Explosive electronic auteur Yaeji is set to appear, alongside London indie rock recluses bar italia.
Elsewhere, you can find Kara Jackson on Danish soil, alongside Mali’s Kadar Tarhanine, Clash favourite Isabella Lovestory, and many more.
Tickets are on sale now.
Roskilde festival runs between June 29th – July 6th.
