Public Image Limited Add More Shows

Extra UK dates added

Public Image Limited have added yet more tour dates to their upcoming British jaunt.

The past ten years have seen Public Image Limited become more influential than at any time since their initial incarnation. The post-punk group fused rock with dub and experimental electronics inspiring countless bands to follow in their footsteps.

Going on hiatus in 1993, PiL decided to emerge from the shadows in 2009. However the band still resolutely play the game by their own rules, funding and booking their own international tours.

Retreating from the limelight to be with his family last year, John Lydon recently came roaring back into the music industry. Public Image Limited arranged a series of British shows this summer, opening in Coventry on May 31st.

Dates in Middlesborough, Cardiff and more follow, with PiL due to play at the Isle of Wight festival. Now the post-punk legends have added two extra dates, with tickets set to be snapped up quickly for the summer tour.

Public Image Limited are due to play two extra dates, including a trip to Sheffield’s Corporation venue on June 6th. The new additions are completed with a show in Preston’s 53 Degrees the next day.

After completing their British tour the band will head out to the continent. Dates have been confirmed in Copenhagen, Oslo, Gothenburg and more with the tour set to come to a close in Slovakia on July 9th.

A pre-sale opened this morning (March 23rd) on PiL’s official website, with tickets due to go on general sale tomorrow.
