Plaid Announce Live Dates

New album 'Scintilli' out Monday

Electronic duo Plaid (Ed Handley and Andy Turner) have announced five UK live dates to follow the release of their new album, ‘Scintilli’, out next Monday on Warp.

The pair were originally two thirds of the excellent Black Dog with Ken Downie (check out their ‘Bytes’ album if you don’t know it) before splitting to work on Plaid full time (and helping Bjork get her head around the whole computer/music thing).

Their new album, ‘Scintilli’, is their first studio recording since 2003’s ‘Spokes’ (they’ve been busy with audio/visual and soundtrack work) and is set to be released by Warp on Monday 26th September with a quintet of gigs to accompany.

The details of the live dates are:
3rd October – The Railway, Winchester
4th October – Soundcontrol, Manchester
7th October – Village Underground, London (9pm – 4am)
15th October – The Arches, Glasgow
18th October – Norwich Arts Centre, Norwich
