Kate Nash – 3AM

Break up anxiety...

It's a feeling that everyone – male or female – can relate to.

The relationship is over, the break up has been completed yet there's still this nagging sense of loss. It's a feeling which pop music has returned to time and time again, perhaps because it's such a universal experience.

Kate Nash has evidently been there as well. New single '3AM' focusses on those long, lonely nights alone when all you really want is to lie behind someone, someone who has clearly left the relationship behind.

Munching on Ben & Jerry's ice cream, the video finds Kate Nash watching a video playback of the relationship. Opening with scattered drums and guitar chords, '3AM' quickly builds up into a rush with the singer's half-spoken delivery recalling Gareth Campesinos! more autobiographical vignettes.

Will Kate Nash find renewed meaning outside the confines of her relationship? Or will her memories continue to bind her?

Watch the new video to find out.
