Jamie T Adds Live Dates

Glastonbury appearance in the offing?

Foul mouthed indie popster Jamie T has confirmed two festival warm up shows – right before Glastonbury.

Releasing his second album ‘Kings And Queens’ last year, Jamie T seemed to tap into something. With Oasis gone a new generation of kids were seeking music which spoke about the situation they were in.

Raised in Wimbledon, Jamie T’s material reeks of drinking on street corners, stupid fights and failed romance. Spawning the hit single ‘Sticks And Stones’ the singer has become a word of mouth sensation.

Touring throughout 2009, the singer played to ever increasing crowds. Finishing the year with his biggest solo shows to date, Jamie T has taken a well deserved break since then.

Now the singer is to return to the road, with Jamie T confirming two festival warm up dates. Due to play Lincoln’s Engine Shed on June 24th, the solo star will then travel to Liverpool’s O2 Academy on June 25th.

The dates are to prepare Jamie T for an upcoming festival appearance. Funnily enough, Glastonbury launches on June 25th, allowing the singer plenty of time to get from Liverpool to Worthy Farm.

There has been no official confirmation that Jamie T is planning to play Glastonbury. Already confirmed for the event are headliners U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder with Michael Eavis recently revealing details of a new stage.

Jamie T has confirmed the following shows:

June
24 Lincoln Engine Shed
25 Liverpool O2 Academy
