Grizzly Bear 2010 UK Tour Dates

Brooklyn heroes return

American breakthrough act Grizzly Bear have confirmed a series of UK tour dates for the opening of 2010.

Grizzly Bear have enjoyed a stunning year. The band released their second album ‘Veckatimest’ as 2009 began, stunning critics with their wonderful songwriting.

With a groundswell of support the band reached the upper echelons of the Billboard chart, a previously undreamt of achievement. As the year progressed it seemed that many more fans were drawn to Grizzly Bear.

Trent Reznor praised the group, while Grizzly Bear were also namechecked by hip hop heavyweight Jay-Z. “It felt like us in the beginning” the star told MTV.

“These concerts, they’re not on the radio, no one hears about them, and there’s 12,000 people in attendance. And the music that they’re making and the connection they’re making to people is really inspiring” Jay-Z continued.

With ‘Veckatimest’ set to feature high up in those End Of Year polls, Grizzly Bear are set to keep on inspiring fans around the world.
