Gilles Peterson Curates Brazilian Alldayer

...alongside Trafalgar Square DJ set

A lifelong devotee of Brazilian culture, Gilles Peterson was recently offered the opportunity to fly out to Rio de Janeiro and record a new album.

It's an opportunity he seized with both hands. Forthcoming release 'Brasil Bam Bam Bam' finds the DJ recruiting some legendary Brazilian musicians for a relaxed recording session.

Out now, 'Brasil Bam Bam Bam' will be accompanied by a handful of special performances. Gilles Peterson is set to curate an alldayer at the Southbank in June 15th as part of James Lavelle's Meltdown.

Alongside live music and DJ sets, new documentary 'Bam Bam Bam: The Story of Sonzeira' will reveal a behind-the-scenes takes on the making of the album.

As if that wasn't enough, Gilles Peterson is also set to DJ at the Brazil Day celebrations on June 12th at London's Trafalgar Square.
