Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros Return

Self-titled album due on August 26th

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are set to release their new, self-titled, album on August 26th.

Capable of crafting gloriously well-hewn pieces of acoustic songsmithery, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have somehow avoided the glare of public acclaim.

Something which could well change, given their recent endorsement. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have become the first band to sign to Mumford & Sons' label Gentlemen of the Road, and are in fact the only band besides the globe-trotting troupe to sit on the roster.

Quite a boost, the new comes as the group sign off session on their second album. Self-titled, the new long player will be released on August 26th, and will be preceded by new single 'Better Days'.

Joyous without being cheesy, classic without seeming cliched, 'Better Days' is a fantastic introduction to an oft overlooked group.

Out on August 26th, listen to it HERE.
