deadmau5 Adds Glasgow After Show

To be broadcast on Radio 1

Deadmau5 has confirmed a special one off after show party in Glasgow on December 17th.

When did Deadmau5 get so big? The Canadian producer is renowned for his blistering electro-house beats and extravagant headwear, but it seems that over the past 12 month the beatsmith has conquered British audiences.

True stadium house for the electro generation, deadmau5 offends the purists and gets kids dancing. Set to kick off one of the year’s biggest dance tours, the Canadian producer has added a lavish after show party.

deadmau5 is due to play Glasgow’s Braehead arena on December 17th, with fans able to keep the party going. Set to be broadcast live on Radio 1, the after show takes place at the city’s O2 Academy.

Joining the producer at the lavish party will be Glasgow based DJ Calvin Harris. No stranger to lavish tours himself, Calvin Harris will be forced to play second fiddle to the Mouse Mask clad Canadian.

Elsewhere, Annie Mac will play a DJ set while Radio 1 compatriot Zane Lowe will also man the wheels of steel. Broadcast live on the station, dubstep pair Skream and Benga are set to play a joint set.

It’s been a massive year for the pair, who have matched solo material with the enormous success of Magnetic Man. Skream and Benga are part of a bill which is completed by UNION.

Tickets for the aftershow party are now on sale.
