Cave Painting Album, Tour

'Votive Life' due on September 24th

Cave Painting are set to release their debut album ‘Votive Life’ on September 24th.

Based in Brighton, Cave Painting’s sporadic affrays to the rest of the country have already made a deep impression. Early releases ‘Rio’ and ‘Gator’ set out their stall, with the band fusing eccentric instrumentation to jagged guitars and fluid electronics.

Sealing off sessions on their debut album, Cave Painting have confirmed plans for a release. ‘Votive Life’ will be available from September 24th, matching previous released singles with live staples.

Alongside this, new download single ‘So Calm’ will receive a renewed release. A digital bundle comes on September 23rd, while Cave Painting are also set to release a seven inch single on September 10th.

In the meantime, though, you can grab ‘So Calm’ as a free download HERE.

Elsewhere, Cave Painting have outlined plans for a full nationwide tour. Opening in Leeds on September 21st, the band will play shows in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and more.

Hitting Sheffield on October 1st, Cave Painting are set to play London’s Lexington venue on October 3rd. Ending with a hometown show in Brighton, tickets for all upcoming shows are on sale now.
