New York duo who blended electronic noise with a confrontational nature. Formed out of the avant-garde artistic milieu that dominated the city, Suicide aimed to present a graphic portrayal of life in New York's slums. Their fiercely original music was matched by a confrontational streak that frequently turned gigs into riots. Having never officially disbanded, Suicide are now regarded as one of the founding fathers of electronic music.
