One man melodic wonder Matt Hart makes music that is a paradox. Along with a trio of close pals and family they comprise The Russian Futurists who slick together soulful songs that recall the innocence and sunshine of 60’s California. But using samplers.

There are certainly no Russians in the band but somewhat subversively they do feature a Ukrainian on bass keys. They have been compared to Brian Wilson but the warm crackle of West Coast AM radio is actually straight from their digital banks and processors.
