Previous incarnations of the Players' line-up have featured Big Audio Dynamite's Don Letts, Radio One's Annie Nightingale and Greg Wilson of Hacienda fame – and in the same eclectic vein, the group this year are a similarly seminal set of artists, featuring:
Jazzie B - The founder of Soul II Soul, now with an OBE and still with a massive following for his unique blend of soul, funk and house.

Jon Carter – The international DJ, who saw in the dawn of the acid house revolution and still kicks it today.

Micachu – The much-touted songwriter, DJ and frontwoman of Michacu and the Shapes, whose 'Jewellery' album is already one of the best of 2009.

Gruff Rhys – Welsh legend, best known for his role in the mighty Super Furry Animals and also for envelope pushing in newer project Neon Neon.

David Shrigley – A creative legend, and Internet sensation, whose endearingly twisted work encompasses drawing, sculpture, photography, animation and music.

Playing from a 1920's style musical van, The Invisible Players will be joined by a whole host of talent, including some live elements (last year witnessed the mighty Hip-Hop Karaoke and a frenetic performance from Drums of Death).
