The Psychonauts - Songs For Creatures

Dance music years are much like cat years. Things move pretty fast in club months. So, casting our minds back to 2003 is a foggy hurdle, yet a gleaming gem was this album from Pablo Clement and Paul Mogg, which actually worked well as a dance album.

Yes, a dance album! ‘Songs For Creatures’ is not only cited as the influence of the Rapture album by James Murphy but also for DJ Hell’s double pack from 2009 that stormed so many opinion charts. It’s a multi-dimensional journey that takes in many facets of dance music whilst retaining the reins of direction.

A complete dance album that’s rarely been surpassed in the last six years.
