Stereophonics: Rewind

Offering a behind-the-scenes documentary

Celebrating their tenth year, the Stereophonics offer a behind-the-scenes documentary charting their progress, struggles, highs and lows from the very first performances as Zephyr to their first number one single, ‘Dakota’.

The two disc DVD features interviews with everyone from the band themselves to the likes of Tom Jones, Roger Daltrey and Jools Holland as well as Noel Gallagher performing an acoustic set with Kelly in amongst two and a half hours of live performances.
The documentary footage is both amusing and frank about life on the road and the departure of drummer Stuart Cable, whilst the live performances sum up even further what the Stereophonics are all about. Even the older songs from ‘Word Gets Around’, recorded in 1997, sound just as relevant now as when the album was first released, proving the reason behind the lasting success of any good band, particularly this one, is always remaining a work in progress.
