Radiohead

Finally, Radiohead release a single from an album that was digitally released a couple of months ago for a price that was determined by the buyer, but which has now been released on more familiar physical formats for the standard industry price.

After all that innovation you might pine for some constancy and this single provides that as Radiohead take the unusual step of sounding very like Radiohead. Thom Yorke starts off mumbling and gets progressively shoutier as the music builds up steam towards a rip-roaring climax. It’s good but like the much-hyped In Rainbows album, musically it’s (relatively) unadventurous.
