The new Pop Levi single has a taut opening featuring a buzzing synth, slinky hand claps and a slick funk beat that gets even better when he lets out a boisterous “whooh” to signal the introduction of a guitar riff so tight it would be in a round of its own at a free bar.

All bases are covered here from cool electro to cheesy disco and there’s still room for the classic rock’n’roll obsession with cars and girls. He should be the pop star that world will fall in love with, but they’ll probably make do with Mika instead.
