We have always been fond of these lads for hitting rock bottom, and bringing themselves straight back to the top, the Frank Sinatra way.

The new single is a feisty, ephedrine pumped Black Rebel Motorcycle Club rock anthem with swirling riffs and expeditious, grinding vocals. The lyrics tell a dark tale of the glass ceiling restrictions of social heirarchy as a London lady fails to escape drugs and prostitution. The lady of undesirable leisures is aptly named 'Dirty Sally'.

The London based band have spent 2008 grooming their faultless live performances under bands like Lethal Bizzle and The View, including festival slots at Glastonbury and Bestival. None of this indie nonsense - Officer Kicks have enough brawn to become a fully fledged rock band.
