JJ - No. 3

JJ are a band who delicately shatter expectations. A pair of barely legal Swedes this boy/girl duo mix their husky, 3am odes to love and longing with verses of grimy US hip-hop and subtle washes of house influenced beats.

Their third album in as many years, JJ continue to gather a pace and ‘No.3’ will surely propel them further into hearts and minds. As delicate as it is intricate, inventive singer Elin Kastlander’s fragility is close enough to touch, whilst the sports commentary samples on ‘Into The Light’ show a brave eye for invention that bodes well for the future.
