Two and a half years after his debut, ‘Panic Prevention’, and neatly side stepping an attempted folk direction, Jamie Treays returns asking "Difficult second what?".

After tying himself in knots trying to dodge expectations on early sessions, he relaxed and just did what HE wanted creating a contender for album of the year. Yes, ‘Kings & Queens’ is that good. With an increased emphasis on the songs, Jamie T exposes himself once more as one of the UK’s most talented young musicians. Playing all the parts, aided by partner Ben Bones, simply adds to the appeal of his multi-talented spirit running wild.

‘Kings & Queens’ delivers on, and surpasses, his debut’s promise with an ease that’s kinda embarrassing for his peers.
