LA act headlines in the English north...

Clash was at the O2 Academy in Leeds on February 19th to see Warpaint play a rescheduled headline set, supporting their recently released (and very well received) second album, 'Warpaint'.

The four-piece - Emily Kokal, Stella Mozgawa, Jenny Lee Lindberg and Theresa Wayman - delivered tracks from both 'Warpaint' (review) and its long-play predecessor, 'The Fool' (review), playing the likes of 'Undertow', 'Biggy', the single 'Love Is To Die' and 'Keep It Healthy'. They also played 'Billie Holiday' from debut EP 'Exquisite Corpse', climaxing with another track originally found on said release, 'Elephant'.
