In Photos: Fat White Family At Electric Ballroom, London

One of the country’s most arresting acts…

Currently celebrating the (re)release of their ‘Champagne Holocaust’ album, which came out on September 15th with a stack of extra tracks, Fat White Family have been doing their whole tearing-up-stages thing this week – and Clash was in London to watch the colourful carnage.

The band’s homecoming gig at the Electric Ballroom, Camden, was the scene on September 18th for some truly singular rock ‘n’ roll moves, the stage a worthy one for this most exciting of emerging prospects. The band has announced a new single, too – ‘I Am Mark E Smith’, backed by ‘I Am Joseph Stalin’, will be released on October 27th via Without Consent. We like it, we like it a lot.

Check out our gallery of the show above – and find the band online here. And just for the hell of it, here is 'Touch The Leather (Redux)'. Be sure to spot the ball(s).
