Rushes down the runway of synth pop
Housse De Racket - Alesia

Pierre Leroux and Victor le Masne, with Air and Chilly Gonzales at the front of their Filofax and Cassius’ Philippe Zdar as their guru, make proficient rushes down the runway of synth pop, in need of something other than performing their playboy patter in a native tongue. The title track is the saving centrepiece, an enormous Clockwork Orange monument which leaves all the big and preppy haircut pop to flatline in its wake. The enthralling seizure of arenas is sealed by the ceremonial ‘Ariane’ carrying a synth power that hardcore ravers will feel they’re being beamed up by. Made to measure, with some whacking great exceptions.
