Great fun and still a serious proposition.
FM Belfast - How To Make Friends

FM Belfast’s debut here receives a full European release after it’s initial limited run in their Icelandic homeland.

In keeping with Icelandic tradition each member is also in a handful of other bands and keeps a healthy irrelevance with membership fluctuating based on who turns up. Teaming contrasting voices, female & male, deadpan & falsetto, over synth backdrops provides a depth and acts as a suitably healthy setting for lyrics like “I’m running down the road in my underwear”. ‘Lotus’ is actually a skewed cover of Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Killing In The Name’ that despite losing the furious delivery, still sounds great. Great fun and still a serious proposition. Tune in.
