Brighton duo Blood Red Shoes’ latest single reveals a greater diversity of styles than previous single I Wish I Was Someone Better suggested.
The guitar riffs are preppy and the driving hi-hat and beat wouldn’t be out of place on a techno record. It’s almost upbeat, though you knew they couldn’t resist being gloomy as an explosion of rage is released on the brilliantly shouty chorus.
