A very likeable cosmic pop record
This Oxford band is a magnet for two pieces of over-used muso-speak: “experimental” and “genre-hopping”. The former is easily refuted: they sound too similar to the spaced-out likes of Animal Collective, MGMT et al to be considered innovators.
