Red Bull Cola Guilty Pleasures
RED BULL COLA conFESSIONS
Red Bull Cola Is All Natural, We Have Nothing To Hide And No
Secrets, But Could You Say The Same?
Got a Secret? Fess-up.
Was your first gig Jason Donovan? Did you buy a T-Shirt? Think the world of ‘Bucks Fizz’? Believe that Craig David has a legitimate place in R&B? Go on let people know that you listen to your E17 album when you are in the car on your own.
Clash and Red Bull Cola are collaborating to collect your music related secrets and keep them nice and safe (on the Internet where nobody can find them!).
So repent your sins, confess your music secrets and you will be rewarded (maybe, sort of, kind of). What a nice little deal.
So go on, tell us a secret ... It’s good to share.
Maybe keep illegal, immoral and those secrets involving animals to yourself and use nice clean language.
THE PRIZES:
Judged by the Clash editorial team. A Sony Camcorder will be awarded for the secret we love the most. 2 runners up will each get £50 of iTunes vouchers (to spend as you wish, on Same Difference if that’s what takes your fancy).
Here are a few things we could keep a secret but won’t in the spirit of being up front:
1. Red Bull Cola is not an Energy Drink, it is just simply a Cola
2. Yes, our Cola does contain the Coca Leaf, unfortunately the de-cocainised version

There's a definite bias towards ladies confessing here. Does it mean they're guiltier? Or just more honest?
Barbara S - Darlington - Record
"My first ever single that I bought out of my hard earned pocket money was Don McLean 'Crying'. Your first record should be something iconic and it's my guilty secret. In 1980 I could have bought great music, such as 'Call Me' by Blondie or 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' by Joy Division - something to be proud of - I am so ashamed - lol!"Elaine A - Burntwood - Garment
"My friend once told me I looked like Kylie Minogue and being gullible I believed her and even entered a lookalike competition, how embarrassing! Funny thing is I have black hair and look nothing like Kylie apart from the fact I am same height!"Annaloa H - Truro - Garment
"I like to go out without knickers on." - Glasvegas

Paul Donoghue (bassist)
Guilty Record
I don't really believe in guilty records, if you like something you shouldn't feel guilty about it... you should embrace it.
Guilty Garment
I didn't think it was that bad, but I had a fawn cap with New Orleans on the front of it, which was continually lampooned by the band.
Guilty Moment
I don't often feel guilty about what I do, but the other night James and Rab did an acoustic show and afterwards I was the first at the venue for the aftershow. No-one was behind the bar when I got there, so I helped myself and some others to a shitload of free booze. Then chased people with a fire extinguisher. Good night though.

I'm starting to think we should just keep this running. It's like we've hit a goldmine of guilt. It's a public service you know, I'm going to apply for charitable status.
Melanie B - Warrington - Moment
"Jason Donovan did a gig at a pub near us (several years ago before he appeared in the Jungle). Of course i went"Cat A - Boston - Garment
"I have a bag worth £20 of choclolate & sweets under my bed & I eat them when my boyfriend's sleeping"Deborah C - Buckinghamshire - Moment
"My first gig was PJ & Duncan. And I went again the following year." - Master Shortie

Guilty Record
Meatloaf ‘I Would Do Anything For Love’ ha ha, this is a wicked song. It’s funny... the lyrics just repeat itself and it goes on for ages, but I used to love it when I was younger for some reason. Definitely my guilty record.
Guilty Garment
Primark underwear. They are cheap, and when I am on tour, sometimes I don’t have time to wash my underwear, so I just buy new ones from Primark. They are pretty good you know.
Guilty Moment
Buying child tube/bus tickets when I was 18. Man it’s so expensive now to travel on the tube, good thing I have my car now.

Leaving the tone of any article in the hands of the public, always runs the risk of our confessing crowd becoming darker and more sadistic by the day. And what a surprise that two weeks in, we are reading tales of bribery, thievery and solvent abuse. We do not condone any of the previous, though the resulting tales are sinners gold... Note the manic, almost ADD like, manner in which our final entrant switches between subjects.
Roland M - Warwick - Moment
"When I was 22, I used to get my 10 year old brother to kick his ball into my very old neighbours garden, knowing that he would go round to get it and score £2 in the process. I would then take that £2, and go and buy 10 fags."Tom P - Fife - Moment
"I was once arrested for being in improper posession of a hotel sign belonging to Fawlty Towers"Robert C - Norfolk - Record
"My first single was 'Do the Bart-man', and I won a dancing competition at Cub Camp to it!"John R - Glasgow - Moment
"When Glue sniffing before a madness gig I got the munchies and bought a family packet of peanut treats during the concert. Only to continously attempt to throw each nut at Suggs. I also like the Black Eyed Peas" - Band Of Skulls

Guilty Record
Emma : "Bonnie Raitt, 'Nick of Time'. My uncle gave me a copy of this on cassette tape and I used to play in my parents car when I was a kid."
Russell: "Queen, 'Radio Gaga'. I think. It was the low frequences of the synth bass that drew me to this when I was young a love song for a broadcasting format. Why not?"
Matt: "The Osmans, 'Crazy Horses'." [Ed - Matt has been left speechless after contemplating the severity of his crime].
Guilty Garment
Emma: "1920s sequined blouse. For when only glitter will do. "
Russell: "I have a pair of 70s moon boots, wore them once as it only ever seems to snow every ten years in England. "
Matt: "As a child I would walk on stilts as much as possible helping kittens down from trees and being the tallest kid in the playground. "
Guilty Moment
Emma: "I used to mime my clarinet in my school orchestra for fear of hitting bum notes. I only got caught when they singled out the clarinet section and made us play one at a time. "
Russell and Matt: "We tricked Emma into being in the band by asking to stop playing her guitar and try bass. We also ruined her art career . "
