Birmingham's The Twang played at Rockness on the Saturday, 7th June.Singer Phil Etheridge of The Twang asks the neighbours upstairs to turn their stereo down.Clearly possessed by the Gods of Rock, this fellow gave Rockness his all.(Semi) local lad Calvin Harris entertained the crowd with small boxes adorned by many knobs and dials.Playing on the Saturday of Rockness, Clavin clearly needs  a haircut.Dundee's The View headlined the Clash Arena on the Saturday at Rockness and were a suitable closing act.Lead singer Kyle Falconer is another pop star who is no friend of the scissors.Forget wellies, Roisin put on a very stylish display during her set on the Sunday.Careful with those shoulder pads Roisin, you'll have someone's eye out.The former Moloko singer, Roisin has enjoyed a successful solo career with her second album 'Overpowered'Channeling the spirit of Ziggy Stardust after a VHS attack, CSS certainly know how to put on a show.Editors' Tom Smith on stage at Rockness on Sunday. The band have been on tour for the last few months in support of last album 'An end has a start'.Thanks to Tom's very shiny guitar you can see the Rockness crowd in the reflection, what a handsome bunch.Underworld headlining the Clash Arena on Sunday 8th June.The Rockness crowd go wild for Boyz Noise in the Skins Arena.Razorlight's Johnny Borrell on stage, unusually not in his all white garb.Borrell wore, what looks like, a garland of flowers around his neck and John Lennon glasses.The band spared no expenses on the light show for their headline slot.Dj Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, headlined the main stage on the Saturday at Rockness.Wide shot of Fatboy Slim on stage with green lazers straffing the crowd.I'm betting they aren't natural blondes?Held at Dores, on the shores of Loch Ness, it was a difficult decision whether to watch the bands of the amazing scenery.Count the sunglasses. Yes, the sun was out all weekend as this photo testifies.

A collection of images from the Rockness festival, held at Dores near Inverness on the 7th and 8th June 2008. Acts performing at the festival included Razorlight, The View, Underworld, CSS, The Twang, Roisin Murphy, Fatboy Slim, Editors and Calvin Harris.

Clash had its own arena at the event which saw performances from The View and Underworld amongst many others.
