Times New Viking's guitarist Jared Phillips hails from Columbus, Ohio.

Australian instrumental group Pivot appeared at The Water Margin on Saturday 17th May.

Signed to Warp Records, Sydney's Pivot were originally a five piece but are now a three piece consisting of Laurence and Richard Pike and Dave Miller.

Cancer Bats are a hardcore punk act from Ontario, Canada who recently released the album 'Hail Destroyer'.

Cancer Bats' vocalist Liam Cormier claims inspiration from bands such as Refused, Black Flag, Led Zeppelin and Down.

FlyKKiller are an unsigned band from London who played The Pressure Point on Saturday 17th May

Apparently FlyKKiler's songs are created by an extraterrestial called 'V' who created them to pass on peaceful message to us humans.

The Rascals appeared at Barfly on Saturday 17th May ahead of teh release of their debut album 'Rascalize'

The three Liverpudlians feature vocalist Mile Kane who, with the Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner, make up The Last Shadow Puppets.

The three mebers, Miles Kane, Joe Edwards and Greg Mighall, were all formerly in the band The Little Flames adn continued to play together after it disbanded.

The Great Escape festival took place in Brighton over May 15th - 17th, with 200 bands gathering to kick off the summer. Featuring some of the best unsigned bands in the country alongside some more established counterparts, this year's Great Escape was a huge success.
