Clash requires a Commercial Sales Manager to develop new business and cultivate special projects across the Clash brand.
Clash Magazine and ClashMusic.com have for 10 years remained the discerning and definitive voice of music and fashion in independent publishing. The opportunity has arisen for a key role within the creative commercial team, and we are looking for a suitable candidate to advance our successes.
The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for selling inventory across the Clash brand, as well as developing and implementing creative business projects and strategies. This includes identifying new opportunities, developing new client relationships, creating business proposals and writing pitches.
You will be working closely with the editorial team to identify content-related sales opportunities, as well as providing music-based solutions to clients together, and will lead the account management team in delivering projects to deadline within budget.
You must have experience in sales, marketing and/or business development, preferably within the music/fashion industries, across both print and digital.
Existing relationships with key advertising agencies and personnel is essential.
You must have outstanding interpersonal and networking skills, and be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and staff.
You must have a keen awareness of contemporary culture, with a solid understanding of current creative brand solutions involving music and fashion.
