Clash Heads To Bestival With Right Guard

For the most intimate sets of the summer

Right Guard and Clash joined forces at Bestival 2010 for another exclusive intimate clutch of Off Guard Gigs featuring interviews and acoustic performances from some of the finest acts playing at the Isle Of Wight event.

Bestival is DJ Rob da Bank's brainchild and continues to provide a celebratory high point to see-off the festival season in style, this year boasting headliners The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal and The Flaming Lips as well as a wealth of other acts including Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Roxy Music, and newly crowned Mercury Prize winners The xx.

Based in the Right Guard: Off Guard VW camper van, Clash quizzed and coaxed musical talent into its retro interior with scant regard for sleep or nourishment, but without having to look too far to mask a multitude of personal hygiene sins.

Joining us in the van were musical legends and emergent upstarts alike....from Rolf Harris teaching us the didgeridoo, to Beardyman and Mr Motivator ad-libbing odes to TV and then embarking on a dance-off with the Cuban Brothers, with serious musical offerings and chats flowing with the likes of disco legend Nile Rodgers from Chic, Mercury nominees Wild Beasts, troubadours of new solo sounds Jamie Woon and Rox, funky folksters Tunng and UK urban forefather Tricky all bringing their unique sounds and take on life as an artist to this most intimate and unique setting.
