American indie rock dons Yo La Tengo have announced plans for a series of European tour dates.
Trends may come and go, but Yo La Tengo remain - thankfully - Yo La Tengo. The band recently revealed that they are hard at work on their new studio album, the successor to well received 2009 effort 'Popular Songs'.
Scheduled to be released in 2013, the new album is set to be followed by a brief burst of European shows. Travelling across the Atlantic, Yo La Tengo are set to open the tour in Portugal on March 1st before travelling around the continent.
Hitting the UK, Yo La Tengo are set to play the Barbican on March 20th. Playing Manchester and Glasgow, the run of dates ends with a Dublin show on March 23rd. Tickets are on sale now.
