‘World’s Smallest Record Shop’ To Open On Record Store Day

North London pop up confirmed...

The astonishing growth of Record Store Day could lead some to believe that big is beautiful – but Cornershop beg to differ.

The band's Tjinder Singh and Ben Ayres are both keen crate-diggers and, via their label Ample Play, have decided to set up what is billed as the 'world's smallest record shop' on April 18th.

Housed at 256 Albion Road, in Stoke Newington, North London, the pop up will be open between 11am and 5pm.

According to the pair, the project was inspired by E.F.Schumacher’s tome 'Small Is Beautiful: A Study Of Economics As If People Mattered' and will boast “bargains and a great day out”.
