Wolfmother Single Planned
'Far Away' to be released
Australian hard rockers Wolfmother are to release their new single 'Far Away' on June 10th.
Wolfmother are survivors. Are working for years to gain recognition, the band stormed the world with their debut album. A sensational mix of blood, sweat, afros and riffs it harked back to the glory years of decadent rock music.
However after a successful world tour the band were ripped apart. Two members fled, leaving singer Andrew Stockdale to battle on. Recently returning with Wolfmother Mk. II the singer has proved that their debut album was no fluke.
Monsters of rock, Wolfmother draw inspiration from the likes of Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. With their second album receiving rave reviews the band have now unveiled their summer plans.
Set to hit the festival circuit, Wolfmother plan to release new single 'Far Away' on June 10th. Already a firm favourite with fans, the track is a highlight of the band's live set.
Already recalling another era, American rockers KISS have done the logical thing and booked the band as tour support. Due to play some enormous European venues the Australian rockers have also confirmed a slot at Download.
As if that wasn't enough rock for you to handle, Andrew Stockdale has also confirmed an appearance on Slash's forthcoming solo album. Due for release on May 10th the Wolfmother star adds his vocals to the guitar icon's music, producing something spectacular.
Wolfmother are due to release their new single 'Far Away' on June 21st.
