With less than seven weeks to go until the O2 Wireless Festival gets under way, the organisers have announced a fantastic new stage curated by the Bella Union label.
Set up in 1997 by erstwhile Cocteau Twin Simon Raymonde, Bella Union have carved out a reputation as an innovative label that has held true to an indie ethos despite some difficult circumstances. Its CV reads like a who's-who of modern indie after discovering acts such as Laura Viers, My Latest Novel, Fionn Regan and The Dears amongst many others.
Spread over four days the O2 Wireless festival already has a great bill boasting sets form the likes of Morrissey, Hot Chip and Jay-Z. The Bella Union stage will host new music from the likes of Burning Leaves, Peter Von Poehl, Loney Dear, Adem and The Wallbirds.
Headlining the Bella Union Stage will be read-hot British rockers The Duke Spirit, who will soon be performing at a Clash / Firetrap event in Edinburgh.
O2 Wireless takes place in Hyde Park, London between July 3rd - 6th.
