White Stripes Out-takes Due

Jack White's new project The Vault will see fans grab hold of some stunning rarities by The White Stripes.

Jack White is a busy man. In addition to guitar strumming duties in The White Stripes and The Raconteurs the Detroit musician has dug out his drum sticks to power new superstar project The Dead Weather.

However the musician has also turned his record label Third Man into an ongoing concern. Based in his new home of Detroit the label has released a number of limited edition singles, as well as The Dead Weather's debut album.

Jack White has also turned his attention to The White Stripes back catalogue. Now ten years old the two piece have recorded a host of material which has never seen the light of day.

In a new subscription service named 'The Vault' fans can sign up to a monthly mail out that will bring them some never before heard material from The White Stripes.

With registration for the service open until October 22nd, Jack White has now unveiled details of the first instalment of rarities.

The first release from 'The Vault' will be alternative takes from the duo's 1998 seven-inch single 'Let's Shake Hands' – and its B-side 'Look Me Over Closely'.

These will be available to platinum subscribers, who will also receive the exclusive vinyl only album 'The Raconteurs - Live In London' as well as a beautiful poster of The Dead Weather.
