Wet Nuns are set to release their self-titled debut album on October 7th.
Ban the bass! A new breed of two piece acts are lurching out of the North, matching a fondness for primordial sludge with a dis-taste for anything which contains four strings.
Wet Nuns have made a bigger impression than most. The Sheffield / Leeds combo are an enthralling live experience, all beards, swear and almighty riffs which threaten which bash in your cranium with each passing moment.
Committing their set to tape, Wet Nuns are set to issue their debut album this year. Self-titled, it's due to be released on October 7th and features Ross Orton at the controls.
Looking ahead, the duo have also confirmed plans for a full tour. Opening in London on October 3rd, the tour hits Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool before hitting Manchester on October 10th.
Supporting fellow two piece No Age, Wet Nuns will see out the tour finish with a set at the Queen's Social Club in Sheffield on October 19th.
Tickets are on sale now.
Wet Nuns are set to play the following shows:
3 London Lexington
4 Birmingham Victoria
5 Leeds Belgrave Music Hall
