The Beach Boys have unveiled the video for their recent single ‘That’s Why God Made The Radio’.

After decades of splits, law suits and barbed quotes The Beach Boys - astonishingly - are back. The band have re-united to toast their 50th anniversary, arranging an international tour and a new album.

Releasing the well received LP earlier this year, title cut That’s Why God Made The Radio’ made an immediate impression. The Beach Boys have now crafted a video for the track, which features some appropriately retro imagery.

Nods and winks are made towards the band throughout the video, before The Beach Boys finally appear at a house party.

“I got a lot of my appreciation for all of the creativity in the world, in terms of music, through the radio,” singer Mike Love reflected recently. “For all of us who grew up in the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and beyond, the radio has played such a huge, important part in our lives. When we were kids, we’d sneak out of the house and go and sit in Brian’s car and listen to the local radio stations on his car radio.”
